This Labor Day, We Remember Mother Teresa

“God does not demand that I be successful. God demands that I be faithful.
When facing God, results are not important. Faithfulness is what is important.”
~Mother Teresa of Calcutta
14 years go on September 5th, one of the greatest “living saints” to be glorified by her Christ-like actions was taken back to her celestial home.  Mother Teresa lived a life of sacrifice and hard work, two descriptors that partly define our observation of Labor Day.  To make this day fully complete, God’s love must be included.  Mother Teresa knew this well, and she toiled endlessly to satisfy the thirst of her heavenly Husband.

This world is in dire need of more Mother Teresas.  May we reflect profoundly on our own sacrifices and hard work this Labor Day so we can readily answer the same call He gives to all of His Saints, “I thirst.”

Live Jesus in our hearts forever!

For more wisdom from Mother Teresa, read this free- E-book filled with her quotes.  She never had time to sit down and write a literary piece, but these quotes do more for our faith than most books ever could.
